Bathroom Make-over {phase 2}

The bathroom has to be one of the most hard-working spaces in the house. It’s also one of the best play-areas so having a fun room that’s super functional and easy to clean is the ideal.

When we moved into our house, the bathrooms were EXTREMELY basic: a bath, a basin on a stand, a toilet and a window. Unfinished cement floors completed the rather dull picture. The only decoration for the first few months were the oversized mirror and the little chandelier that was one of about 10 that we bought on Gumtree.

After some time spent with my sewing machine, a bit of creativity, a checker-board vinyl floor and some splurges on splashes of colour from Mr Price Home, I am very happy with the result!

The next step will be to tile the walls – they will never last with the amount of water they have to endure!
