When New Year’s Day dawns there is always that wonderful excitement in the air: the festivities in the days leading up from Christmas have filled people with an idealistic optimism for the year ahead and a sigh of relief that the previous year with its hardships is finally over.
For me, the first day of the new year is a time to look back rather than forward, to give thanks for the hardship and fortune alike and to acknowledge achievements and mistakes. To note the lessons learnt and opportunities gained.
We have had such a fortunate year here at Homeology.co.za and we would not have been able to achieve any of this without you, dear reader. And for this, we are truly grateful.
Here is a quick overview of what we’ve done:
- Blog posts: 137
- Original DIY’s: 18
- Magazine and newspaper articles: 5
- Radio interviews: 1
- Celebrity encounters: 1
- Budget makeovers: 7
- Competitions: 5
- Site revamps: 2
